Key Corporate Highlights
CBUAE has decided to maintain the Base Rate applicable to the Overnight Deposit Facility at 3.65%. This decision was taken following the US Federal Reserve's announcement to keep the Interest Rate on Reserve Balances (IORB) unchanged.

Emirates NBD and RBL Bank announced the completion of Emirates NBD's acquisition of a 60% stake in RBL Bank through a primary capital infusion of approximately USD 2.75bn (INR260bn). The transaction was finalized following the receipt of all required regulatory approvals and the fulfillment of closing conditions.

US Treasuries recovered from a selloff after the new Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh positioned himself as a credible figure to fight inflation. Two year Treasury yields steadied at around 4.19% Thursday, while 30 year US debt rallied with yields declining five basis points to 4.88%.
UK inflation held steady in May, with consumer prices rising 2.8% compared to a year earlier, unchanged from April. Inflation was held down by food costs, offsetting price pressures from air fares, vehicle taxes and petrol.
